Food and Bioeconomy

Two of our regions have a strong focus on bioeconomy. South Ostrobothnia has selected Sustainable Food Systems and New Solutions for Bioeconomy as one of its key smart specialisation thematic business sectors, whereas Central Finland has a strong agriculture and forestry sector and long traditions in forest-based bioeconomy.
